【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthesafetyrequirementsand/ormeasurestoremovethehazardsandlimittherisksonreciprocatinginternalcombustioncompressionignitionenginesofgroupIcategoryM2foruseinundergroundworkingssusceptibletofiredampand/orcombustibledusthereinafterreferredtoasengines.Thestandarddoesnotdefinerequirementsrelatingtothedrivenmachinery.Theserequirementscanbefoundintheappropriateapplicationstandard.ThisstandarddoesnotapplytoenginesofcategoryM1whichrequirespecialconsiderations.Thisstandarddoesnotapplytoenginesusedinpremisesfortheprocessing,manufactureorstorageofexplosives.ThesafetyrequirementsforenginesforuseinflammablegasandvapouratmospheresaregiveninEN1834-1:2000.ThesafetyrequirementsforenginesforuseinexplosiveatmosphereswithcombustibledustaregiveninEN1834-3:2000.Thisstandarddoesnotapplytosparkignitionengines.Thehazardsapplicablearelistedin4andrelatetotheadditionalhazardsofoperationinanatmospherethatmaybecomeexplosive.Thetestswhichtheengineanditsancillaryfittingsarerequiredtoundergotoverifycompliancewiththisspecificationaredetailedinthisstandard.Generalsafetyrequirementsi.e.thosecommontoalltheRICengines,arecoveredinEN1679-1:1998.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletoengineswhicharemanufacturedafterthedateofissueofthisstandard.
